There are many ways to get to and from McCarran international airport. Carefully review the options that suit your budget and time best.

Airport Shuttle

One of the most popular ways of transportation is a low-cost airport shuttle that can take you from McCarran international airport to resort hotels of Las Vegas and the downtown area. You can use the shuttle to get to the airport from the city’s different locations as well. Keep in mind that this is a share-a-ride service, which means that you will be sharing the shuttle with other travelers, and the vehicle will be stopping at few destinations along the way before you reach your destination. However, your stop at your hotel or destination is not guaranteed, so passengers are advised to look up beforehand and consult the company on their hotline or the website before they book a seat. For terminal 1 The Ride Share pick up is on Level 2 of the parking garage, for Terminal 3 the Ride Share pick up is located on the Valet level of the parking garage.

Public Bus

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada operates a public bus to and from McCarran International Airport. Terminal 1 is served by Route 108 – Paradise, Route 109 – Maryland Parkway, and the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) Route, while Terminal 3 is served by the latter and Centennial Express (CX) routes.

Bus stops for Terminal 1 are located on Level Zero, while the bus stop for Terminal 3 is located on the departures curb of level 2.

Taxis

One of the most convenient ways to get to the city from McCarran International Airport is by taxi. There are around ten companies that are operating on the grounds of the airport, including Uber and Lyft, however, keep in mind that the lines for the taxis can be quite long, so plan accordingly to avoid a long waiting time. Also, there is a $2 surcharge on all fares riding from the Airport to the city. If you prefer a fancier ride, you can opt for a limo service that is available both at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The exact location to Terminal 1 is the west side of the baggage claim outside door exits 7 through 13, and for Terminal 3, it is on the outside Level 0 on at the west end of the terminal.
